Are you an experienced Energy Consultant looking to expand your skill set as part of a national, diverse, and growing practice?
 
Are you motivated to inspire others and have an appreciation for the environmental but also the social and economic needs of your clients?
 
Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an Energy Consultant to join our passionate Sustainability and Energy Team here at Pick Everard.
 
This role would see you driving forward Pick Everard’s growing requirements to deliver energy audits and decarbonisation plans for our clients seeking funding from the Public Sector Decarbonisation Schemes or other public or private funding mechanisms.
 
You will be involved in decarbonising existing buildings, sites and clients’ estate portfolios and helping our clients on their Net Zero Carbon journeys. You will work alongside energy consultants building physics engineers, and sustainability consultants, as well as all other Pick Everard Design and Management disciplines.
 
As a practice, we have adopted an agile working policy, meaning you will have the flexibility of a mix of home and office working.

About You

Our ideal Energy Engineer must have:
 
  • A relevant degree or significant demonstrated experience in Building Services Engineering or relevant areas
  • Detailed understanding and practical experience of the delivery of energy audits, building fabric improvements, carbon reduction plans and building performance evaluations
  • Experience in producing Heat Decarbonisation Plans and supporting Salix funding applications (Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, Low Carbon Skills Fund)
  • Experience in the use of energy efficiency and carbon reduction tools and software packages
 
It would be nice for you to have:
  • Membership, or working towards membership, with relevant industry bodies
  • LCEA, ESOS, CIBSE Heat Networks, Energy Institute or CPMV accreditation
  • Experience in corporate Net Zero Carbon pathways.
  • Good understanding of other strategic advisory services relating to carbon emissions
  • Thermal modelling experience
  • On-site experience
