With plenty of new build and refurbishment works in the pipeline, the team are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager; this role will be based on our client’s site at Worcester Acute Hospital, representing and working on behalf of our client.

As Senior Project Manager, your role will focus on planning and managing projects, liaising closely with customer and principal contractor teams, and compiling regular performance reports. Other duties include:

  • Ensuring maximised cost effectiveness to customer and Pick Everard
  • Undertake a range of Project and Key Account Management activities ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor, drive and report on project performance including action planning/management
  • Participate in Project Manager Governance Group as required
  • Ensure delivery of any personal business plan objectives
  • Involvement in business development activities as appropriate, including involvement in bids and presentations to clients
  • Deputise for Principal Project Manager where appropriate
  • Coach and develop other members of Project Management team

This role would suit a candidate located in the West Midlands or situated near Gloucester, Worcester or the Birmingham area. 

About You

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree and 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Membership with a relevant professional body (RICS, CIOB, APM etc)
  • Project Management related qualification (Prince 2 etc)

Key knowledge and experience we’d like you to have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of building technology and construction principles
  • Understanding of risk management
  • Strong understanding of forms of building contract (JCT and NEC3)
  • Excellent client communication skills
  • Good report writing and presentation skills
  • Previous experience of supervising and managing teams

Ideally the successful candidate will have previous healthcare experience, and a background in working client side or for a consultancy, although this is not essential.
