Our Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a Revit Technician to join our structural engineering team in Leicester. This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the team working to deliver innovative and creative structural design solutions to our clients.

As Revit Technician, you will assist in the preparation of structural design briefs, prepare drawings from engineer’s details, and carry out general administration and issuing of drawings. Other duties include:

  • Prepare reinforcement detail drawings and bending schedules
  • Assist with on-site survey work and manage procurement of site data
  • Assist with day-to-day commercial management of structural engineering commissions.

About You

The successful Revit Technician will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience using Revit and relevant design office experience with a consultancy or contractor.

Further skills and knowledge required:

  • Ability to interpret drawings into a finished product
  • Revit Structures competency
  • Knowledge of RC detailing and scheduling to British Standards
  • Understanding of engineering/structural/civil drawings
  • Familiarity with British Standards/Codes of Practice
