At Pick Everard, we value talented leaders. On the back of successful growth for the Landscape team, we are looking to appoint an Associate Landscape Architect to shape and grow the Landscape Architecture team in London.

Our team of Landscape Architects are passionate about designing healthy and sustainable spaces that are inclusive for everyone. Operating across diverse sectors, you will be responsible for leading major projects, across sectors including public realm, residential, education, custodial, defence, and healthcare. Your responsibilities will include undertaking business development activities maintaining quality of service delivery and developing client relationships to secure repeat business, liaising directly with clients, managing design teams, running and coordinating complex jobs and control of day-to-day programming and planning, staff resources and monitoring of team utilisation.

You will report into the Director for Landscape Architecture, and become part of our cohesive, collaborative and team-orientated environment, where you can expect to find genuine scope for professional development. You will be able to nurture emerging talent and provide valuable insights to help drive the business forward.

About You

The successful Associate Landscape Architect will have significant experience in a relevant role as well as demonstrable leadership skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Our ideal Associate Landscape Architect must have:

  • A degree in Landscape Architecture and significant experience in a relevant role
  • Chartered member of the Landscape Institute (LI)
  • Proven capability of work winning and managing major projects / clients
  • Good Microsoft/AutoCAD/Revit and other software skills
  • Excellent organisational, communication, writing, and presentation skills

It would be nice for you to have:

  • Good Contract administration knowledge, especially NEC and JCT
  • Good technical construction knowledge and a full understanding of all current statutory legislation and regulations
  • Autonomous in role – honest and reliable with high levels of integrity
  • Self-motivated and ability to motivate and manage teams and address difficult elements of projects
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
