We are seeking to appoint a Principal Project Manager to join our well-established, innovative, and dynamic team in Glasgow. In this pivotal role, you will help drive our continued growth and future ambitions, overseeing the delivery of high-profile projects, shaping strategic direction, and ensuring excellence in client service and project outcomes across our portfolio.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Leading Project and Key Account Management activities, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
Monitoring, driving and reporting on project performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective action plans where required.
Contributing to the Project Manager Governance Group and supporting the development of best practice across the function.
Taking ownership of personal business objectives and contributing to the achievement of wider team and business goals.
Playing a key role in business development activities, including leading bid submissions, client presentations and the pursuit of new opportunities.
Deputising for Associates and Directors as required, providing leadership and support across projects and client accounts.
Coaching, mentoring and developing members of the Project Management team, helping to build capability and support career progression.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and promoting long-term partnerships.

About You

Our ideal Principal Project Manager will have:

A degree qualification, supported by significant relevant experience within Project Management, ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
A recognised professional qualification, such as MAPM, MCIOB, MRICS or PRINCE2.
Current membership of a relevant professional body, such as RICS, CIOB, APM or an equivalent organisation.
Demonstrable experience operating at a senior level, successfully leading complex projects and delivering positive outcomes for clients.
A strong understanding of building technology, construction methodologies and industry best practice.
Comprehensive knowledge of project risk management, with the ability to identify, assess and mitigate project risks effectively.
An excellent understanding of standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to support project delivery while contributing to wider business objectives.
Excellent bid writing, presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence clients and key stakeholders.
A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting business growth.
A commitment to mentoring and developing colleagues, sharing knowledge and promoting high performance across project teams.
