Our Opportunity

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking to appoint a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our Leeds office. 

  • Are you due to graduate in 2025 with a RICS accredited Building Surveying degree of 2:1(or above)?

You can expect to become involved in:

  • A mix of both professional and project services.
  • Projects within the commercial, education, and defence sectors amongst others.

Your core duties will include:

  • Supporting the preparation of surveys, designs, reports and contract documents, including drawings
  • General administration of team projects
  • Supporting senior leads with the delivery of major complex projects
  • Managing small / medium sized projects as appropriate
  • Attending meetings/ presentations where appropriate
  • Supporting / undertaking on-site or other survey work
  •  Developing client relationships
  • Checking documents, reports etc

Further Development

As a Graduate you will be automatically enrolled on to our “Springboard” programme which is a 2-year internal programme ran by our Learning & Development team that focuses on the soft skills set out by the Pick Everard competencies, which ensures that all who are at the beginning of their career, have the same opportunities to gain the skills and knowledge required by the business.

The programme will look to incorporate requirements of the variety of Charterships, as well as future promotion opportunities.

 Aims & Objectives

  • To provide all employees in Pick Everard classed as those who are at the beginning stages of their career with access to a formal training plan.
  • To align with the Pick Everard Competency Framework and provide a clear route to progression within Pick Everard.
  • To improve the knowledge and skills required for all roles within Pick Everard.
  • To provide additional support to those who are at the beginning stages of their career.

About You

You will be committed to enhancing our positive working culture, by having a compassionate attitude and always treating others with respect.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A RICS accredited degree of 2:1 or above in Building Surveying (Expected/Achieved)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team
  • Work experience in a relevant field

In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you:

  • Commitment to Continued Professional development and looking to achieve MRICS statutes within 3-4 years
  • Work experience in a relevant field would be preferred
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time with multiple tasks
